This is the Next Generation Festival
In 2020 and 2021, a total of almost 350 top musicians graduated from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Due to the pandemic, they were unable to share this with the public, but they are now given the opportunity. From 25 to 28 November 2021, the Royal Conservatoire is organizing the Next Generation Festival. Alumni come to The Hague from all over the world and Amare is the place to be for music lovers that weekend.
During the 4-day Next Generation Festival, the brand new alumni and their ensembles play more than 75 hours of music in various genres such as Classical, Early Music and Jazz. Or come and listen to new music written by Sonology and Composition graduates. From January 2022, the conservatory will provide its lessons from the new Amare, but during the Next Generation Festival visitors can already visit the new accommodation and admire the impressive hall and studios.
