Are you a creative student in The Hague who’d love to get a behind-the-scenes look at event organization? We’re looking for someone to help shape our promotional strategy and bring innovative ideas to life while working closely with event managers. HI The Hague is looking for new Promotion Manager to join our student team in 2026! We’re in charge of organizing big welcome events for new students in The Hague, so this is your chance to make a real impact, meet tons of people, and create unforgettable memories.
About HI The Hague
We bring students together from all over The Hague to create a fun and welcoming student community. As an Event Commissioner, you’ll help us plan and promote two big programs:
- Summer Program: A fun welcome week for new students (introduction week, end of August-beginning of September 2026).
- Winter Program: A cozy series of events during November and December 2026.
Position Details
- Role: Promotion Manager
- Term: February – December 2026
- Commitment: About 12 hours per week, flexibly scheduled
- Compensation: This is a volunteer role, but you can receive a board grant (for second year students or higher)

What You’ll Do
- Making & Designing Instagram stories
- Creating visuals in Canva
- Preparing newsletters
- Coordinating promo material orders
- Keeping in touch with partners
- Writing, planning promotion strategy both for summer & winter programme
Who We’re Looking For
- You’re great at communication with others and working together.
- You are organised and know how to stay on top of things.
- You’ll need to be a student here from February to December 2026.
- Your English is good, as team meetings and communications are in English.
- You’re a creative mind with a passion for visual storytelling.
