HI alderman of The Hague

Around 16:30 we expect a visit from alderman Saskia Bruines (culture) so that she too can get to know students, associations, projects, initiatives and innovations for and by the student community in The Hague better. But first she will play her favorite record on stage! Then we – read: 'big shots' from (student) boards – will have a discussion with her about why an attractive student city is important, how we can continue to develop student city The Hague together and what do we need to do to further support in academic and personal growth. Yes, this is about you too ;)

In the spotlight: Acts of Kindness

Get together for freedom at HI The Hague Student Experience at Liberation Festival The Hague! Today, we're extending a special invitation from Leiden University Campus The Hague's Acts of Kindness initiative to our entire city. Originating from our caring community, this initiative aims to foster connections through small acts of kindness. Whether it's sharing a cup of coffee, swapping books, lending a hand with tasks, cooking together, or even pet-sitting, there are endless ways to spread kindness. You're welcome to both request and offer acts of kindness — let's make our community a little brighter, together!

So are you studying in The Hague? Then this party is for you!

Freedom

The Hague, city of Peace and Justice is the perfect place to celebrate that we are free in the Netherlands and to show support for those who are not (Liberation Festival). The higher education institutions in The Hague want to contribute to this. The theme of freedom not only fits in seamlessly with our education and research, but also affects our students. We therefore want to celebrate peace with students, prospective students and all other interested parties, but also encourage people to think about what peace and freedom mean for everyone.

Last year we asked the mayor, students and board members of higher education institutions in The Hague: what does freedom mean to you? What is Freedom? Why is freedom important?

Meet THUAS, Leiden University Campus The Hague, Inholland The Hague, Royal Academy of Art & Royal Conservatoir, International Institute of Social Studies, Delft University of Technology Campus The Hague, Tribez, Pelargos, HSV, INTAC, La Crosse, Football Factory, Interaccess, HSSK, The Hague Hornets, STUDAR and Study in The Hague.
