You choose how you want to join
The 2026 edition of HI The Hague comes with a diverse and city-wide program. These events are accessible with a week ticket or separate event tickets. With a week ticket (€85 / early bird €75), you will join a mentor group who will guide you throughout the week.
With your week ticket, you get access to multiple exclusive events such as a movie night, beach day, boat tour, and the closing party, including perks like snacks, drinks, and discounts.

The program
Tuesday, August 25:
Kick-off Movie Night | 18:30 – 22:00 | week ticket only
Got a week ticket? Your introduction week starts here. Meet your intro group and mentors for the first time. Watch a movie together and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. Afterwards, head into the city with your group to continue the evening.
Wednesday, August 26:
Welcome Party | 17:00 – 23:00 | Grote Markt (free)
The official kick-off for all students at Grote Markt, The Hague! Enjoy live music, entertainment, and a vibrant student atmosphere at Grote Markt, one of the most popular café squares in the city centre. Meet new people and celebrate the start of your student life together, at the central student spot Grote Markt. Free entry for all students.
Thursday, August 27:
Student InfoMarket | 14:00 – 16:00 | THUAS (free)
Discover student associations and organisations that make your student life more fun, social, and easier. Walk around, explore, and find your place in the city.
Bar Hopping | 21:00 – 23:00 (€9.50)
Explore some of the city’s most popular student bars while enjoying exclusive discounts and a lively atmosphere. The ticket comes with 4 free drinks!
Friday, August 28:
Association Beach Day | 14:00 – 18:00 | Scheveningen (€7.50)
Spend the day at the beach and get to know student associations in a relaxed and active setting. Join sports activities, creative sessions, or just enjoy the beach vibe.
Saturday, August 29:
Boat Tour | 17:00 – 23:00 (€8.50)
Discover The Hague city center from the water. Enjoy music, free drinks, and great company while cruising through the canals of The Hague city center.
Association borrel | 19:00 onwards | HSV/INTAC | week ticket only
After the boat tours, week-ticket participants can join a dinner at locations with student associations HSV and INTAC together with their mentor groups. This is the last exclusive event for the week's ticket before the closing party.
The Big Closing Party | 23:00 – 04:00 (€8)
Celebrate the end of an unforgettable week with all participants at the final party at Club Danzig.
