HI The Hague house rules

The first house rule is to have a good time!

Additionally:

  • The minimum age to consume alcohol at HI The Hague event is 18 years. Visitors have to be in possession of a valid ID that shows their date of birth, which they have to show on first demand.
  • These events are exclusively for students. If in doubt, a valid student ID may be requested.
  • Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket registered in your own name.
  • HI The Hague is allowed to search visitors pre-emptively and check their (hand) bags to ensure the safety of its visitors. Possession of glass, cans, fireworks, drugs, (fire) arms and/or other dangerous or prohibited items or substances, food, (alcoholic) drinks and/ or pets are not allowed.
  • A ZERO TOLERANCE policy applies to all HI The Hague events. The possession or dealing of (hard & soft) drugs is prohibited. If there is any evidence of overuse and/or possession, confiscation of the drugs will follow and/ or the offender and the drugs will be removed from the event and will be handed over to the police.
  • Visitors of HI The Hague events enter the event at their own risk. HI The Hague takes no responsibility for any damages on any grounds, which directly or indirectly arise out of acts or omissions of HI The Hague, persons in its service, other persons who are working at the venue, or third parties during or in connection with the stay at the venue unless the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence by HI The Hague.
  • Visitors of HI The Hague must be properly dressed. Wearing discriminatory clothing is not allowed. Lack of clothing items and/ or shoes might result in denial of entrance depending on the demands of the specific event.
  • HI The Hague reserves the right to refuse/deny (further) access to visitors in a drunken state and/or under the influence of narcotics.
  • Smoking is not permitted in indoor areas.
  • It is not allowed to urinate outside of the designated restrooms.
  • HI The Hague will not tolerate threats, abuse, discrimination, sexual harassment, and other nuisance and/ or offensive behaviour.
  • During events, photos and videos may be taken by us. By participating, you consent to this.
  • Social media presence is always welcome especially when credited to HI The Hague's social media. However, it is not allowed to make professional audio or video recordings for press or formal public events without written permission from HI The Hague board members.
  • When entering and leaving HI The Hague events visitors shall not cause disturbances to the neighbourhood.
  • Glasses/cups cannot be taken outside the designated event area.
  • Tokens for consumption or food and event tickets cannot be refunded for money.
  • Visitors are held to follow instructions, regulations, and/or directions of (security) staff of HI The Hague events at all times.
  • Access to the event grounds will be denied to visitors who do not comply with these house rules and the Terms and Conditions without the right to reimbursement of tickets, any service charges, and/or other costs.
  • The event and/or lineup can be changed, moved, or cancelled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
